i've been so busy at school, there's hardly any time for anything else. work, assignments, newyork trip preperations, and some other meaningless school stuff.
so, the slipknot concert was fucking amazing. it was everything i expected it and more. mind-blowing, ear-drum shatteringly great. like a great orgasm, but better. haha. the way they built the tension up, slowly, but surely with every song they played. OH GOD. amaaaaaaaazing.
tingxian, his friend melvin and i got there at 5. and right at the front of the mass of people was vincent mousey, andrew and han smthn (i've forgotten his name, oops). so there was a lot of pushing, shoving, toes being stepped on, especially mine. so we get in and sprinted, yes like an olympic sprinter, to the opposite side of the stage where there was less people. and parked ourselves there. waited a bloody long time. we were 3 hours early. hah.
so they finally come on stage, and suddenly everyone's pushing towards the 150dollar area, which we (the cheapo 60bucks people) were seperated by with a barracade. MASSIVE PUSHING. it was quite scary. the security guard got squashed between the two metal pieces. it was so scary. the crowd didnt stop pushing till they all got into the 150 section. and there was a pregnant woman in there. and i was worrying about her too. the crowd was crazy. and there wasnt anything anyone could do about it.
it was bloody amazing how the crowd was going wild. all the jumping, and moshing and fucking crazy music and everything. the best concert i've been too. I DO SO HOPE SLIPKNOT will be back soon. i don't think there's gonna be a better, or as good, gig, if it weren't them. the drummer was amazing, and so were the guitarists. OH MAN. im too blown away for words.
other people i know who went : michelle, she got media tickets. and here i am in mass comm, getting squished with 4000 other sweaty bodies. met andre and his two step-siblings too.
my ears are ringing, which is causing my head to hurt real bad. and here i am listening to more metal.
till after my exams! or until something blogworthy pops up.
