guess who's back

ok so i said that i'll pop in everynow and then on ej and just record what i've done today in beijing china.. y dad's laptop doesn't have msn.. sob.. so i have to make do with this.. ej.. to stay in touch with everyone.. although i've just been gone less than one day!! ok.. must admit.. i miss everyone.. shit.. feeling kinda woozy now.. think i stayed too long in the jacuzzi.. room's spinning.. spinning.. tilting.. whoa.... sean.. be prepared to eat your heart out later on..

minute i step into china.. whoa.. major identity quake.. i mean.. its my ancestors country! my home home home land.. wow.. its cool.. the feeling of tredding on the soil where your grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's grandfather's father lived.. you get the point.. oh gosh.. its unexplainable.. i've never been to china.. so the feeling is pretty overwhelming la..

blah blah.. toook taxi to the grand hyatt beijing.. ride took like 40mins.. ride was horrible! it was cramped and stuffy in the taxi.. the driver didnt turn the aircon on.. temperature's like 15 degrees celcius.. so heh.. he left wrthe window open!!! urgh! worst thing he could do! the air ouside is chilly but its heavily polluted! yucks.. so smelly! i was expecting nice greenery on the way.. but outside was just barren chunks of land with trees growing on them.. its spring!! not winter! ok.. hmm.. saw a lot of bicycles.. taxis and cars are crazy here! they drive on the pavements... to make short cuts!! pavements!! where people walk!! people hafta get out of their way.. and its not like the people are angry at the driver! they're used to it! well i certainly am not.. its like driving on the pavement right outside the heeren. no way man.. china.. BACKWARD COMMUNIST COUNTRY!! ugh..

check into hotel.. nice nice.. walk around this nearby shopping centre and bought clothes!! the prices here arent that comparable to singapore's la.. everythings about the same.. china's just 10bucks less than the regular stuff found in singapore.. heh.. tmr going to silk street for cheap bargains.. and ill show off my newly improved mandarin with a china thick accent.. buahahaha..

lalala.. the pool is on the lowest level! under ground! and its beautiful.. the bathroom has a jaccuzzi.. steam room, sauna (dunno whats the difference between the two) and a SOLARIUM!! *sean, hide your eyes* a solarium has tis machines which you lie on and soak up the uv rays which are being emitted.. in other words.. a tanning machine.. nice huh.. ok.. must go now.. dads gonna kill me.. later..
